Your Favorite 2016 Fall Trend

Working with great people makes even greater outcomes. I like to make sure that people are having fun and feel appreciated. Haven't you noticed, you are a product of your surroundings? So, surround yourself with uplifting, motivated go-getters.

I linked up with two amazing human beings and we did a fun photoshoot. I whipped up a magical skirt. Berry wine colors are perfect for this season. It is the perfect fall trend. Don't you guys agree? Dark berry lips paired with a wine skirt. Ta-da! The amount of fabric for this piece was insane and absolutely worth it. The fullness of the skirt made the images that Susie took, breathtaking. The execution of the dress was very difficult. I needed more fabric that what we originally had. Although I can say that I learned a new sewing technique and I'm really excited about that.

This morning was a cold, chilly day. I was wrapped up in layers from head to toe and Katie was modeling like a champ in her crop top and Tori Dany Designs skirt. Susie's creative mind did amazing with the pictures. She had this project for her camera club and needed to have long exposure shots. We went to two different locations and seeing the images on the camera were beautiful. I can't wait to do another shoot with these two.

Fashion design has created new connections between myself and wonderful people. I want this passion for fashion to take me places I've never imagined. Traveling to experience new cultures and learn about new textiles would be a dream. So far, I've been able to get new fabrics from different locations on my travels. Friends have agreed to get textiles on their trips for me to create a special piece for them. Seattle is home for me, but I know the world is waiting for me.
