Minot Fashion Week's Future of Fashion Design
Minot Fashion Week had an inspiring event this past weekend that brought the fashion community together. The concept behind The Future of Fashion Design event was beyond cool. Designers of Minot Fashion Week paired with young fashionistas who attended the Taube Museum Art Education Program (fashionista class) this past summer. At the end of the program, the girls drew up fashion sketches for the designers to execute!
When I was younger, I scribbled in Barbie coloring books and drew fashion sketches of my dream collection. So, I could only imagine how these little girls felt when their design was brought to life. This event was so innovative and forward thinking. To include future members of the community on this event was probably one of the coolest things this town could have done.
I've enjoyed meeting those who are involved in the fashion community out here. Someone needs to share their talent and I'm happy that I've taken on blogging. I get to talk about my interactions and spread creativity through those blog posts. My fashion designs can be found here. If you like what you see, please share and subscribe!
